About Darrell
Darrell brings over 16 years of professional experience to the Associate Dean role in the Dean of Students Office. Darrell’s role in the Dean of Students Office is providing the support to Residential Education and the Graduate Life Office related to escalated student cases, supporting Student Affairs Offices, and staff with non-clinical response to critical incidents that affect the student and the community, on- and off-campus. In a related role, Darrell is also the primary lead on non-ILOA related Dean of Students individual case management.
Darrell’s formal educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with a concentration in Psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. Some of Darrell’s most treasured skills that he brings to the Associate Dean role in the Dean of Students Office include: case management, community outreach, crisis response, and many evidence based practices. Darrell is a certified member of the National Association for Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment (NaBITA).
