About the Dean of Students
The Dean of Students Office serves as the compass for undergraduate and graduate students' lived experiences, guiding them toward finding their own sense of purpose and belonging. Our mission is to foster an accessible and meaningful educational environment for students by providing individualized student support, responding to impactful incidents, and cultivating the conditions for learning, development, and success in a residential community.

DOS Central Team
The Dean of Students Office Central team provides oversight for the case management of student-related incidents and issues, facilitates implementation of certain student policies, and engages students in activities to build community and inspire a sense of belonging.
Graduate Life Office
The Graduate Life Office (GLO) are a division of the Office of the Vice Provost for Student Affairs and is guided by Our Most Important Work. We serve the entire graduate student population at Stanford and their families. GLO deans are a source of comprehensive, impartial guidance and information related to all aspects of your life as a graduate student.
Office of Accessible Education
The mission of the Office of Accessible Education (OAE) is to promote an accessible and inclusive environment for all students with disabilities. Through both academic and housing accommodations, we work to mitigate physical and attitudinal barriers that students might face. We are dedicated to supporting students with disabilities to give them the opportunity to perform at their highest academic potential. We also strive to promote the inclusive environment they need to experience full membership in our diverse Stanford community.
